So I learned the hard way….Tom’s of Maine long lasting (Apricot) deodorant fucking burns your armpits! Apparently they have been letting this happen since 2006 and havent done a thing! Just google burning armpits and toms of maine and see for yourself! Thats how i found out it was the deodorant! My armpits have been hurting for at least a month. At first a little, i thought it was maybe my clothes, then after I while i noticed the peeling skin, the red and peeling skin. I stopped using the deodorant for a couple days but then got too stinky and stared using it again. I really didnt think it was the deodorant since I have been using it for a while now (at least 6 months). One night it got so bad that I was scared my armpits were dying. Thats when I came across a blog post from 2006 describing the same thing! It also had about 160 comments detailing the same thing over a span of 4 years! That will teach ya, natural doesn’t mean won’t fucking burn you.

poo cat, poo paws, poookles….the many nicknames that we have for our beloved kitten Pickles who we adopted in December. Today, unfortunately, her nickname rang a little too true. At first when I sat at my desk and saw a brown spot on my article to read for Wednesday I thought oh! poo! but it cant be. I decided to leave it, and not touch it, until i had further evidence. it wasnt an important page and i thought i could just leave it for now and rip it off later. Well later came quickly. The cats have been running around the apartment all morning playing/fighting. I found pickles at one point on the bed with a roll of toilet paper she had stolen and ripped apart. So I am in the kitchen heating up coffee and pickles comes in and lays on the floor. As I am waiting for my coffee I bend over and pick her up. After holding her for a second I go to check her bum to see if that was poo/her poo on my paper. Well! wasnt i in for a surprise. So not only did i discover that, yes that was poo on my paper, but now yes, that is poo all over her bum, and yes that is poo all over my shirt! So I lock us into the bathroom to clean us up, Mouse is clawing to get in and i tell her that she does not want to be in here! I wipe the poo off her tail and butt and set her free. Like 10 mins later I hear someone in the little box and i look in the bathroom and there mouse is guarded the door for pickles while she poos….again…. runny poo all down her butt. great! again! so i wipe it off again and stalk around the apt trying to discover all the places that she probably sat down and smeared poo everywhere. I think of her playing on the bed earlier and i think i see a tiny poo stain! I think, it could be everywhere! It’s probably all over the place! We need to clean everything, well at least Rad should try later when I am in class, i dont have time right now. I do not want to sleep in a poo bed tonight. Poo paws, you have earned your name today… asshole

I can’t believe how fast this year is going by! School has officially swallowed me alive! I am actually taking a day off today! (and I feel extremely guilty about it-fuck you guilt)! I just had the worst week full of presentations (2) and one god awful panic attack dentist nightmare! I downed 3 (4?) pints last night! So I feel a bit hung and sluggish today. Perfect day to take off! Except Rad is at work and the cats aren’t very good conversationalists! Less than a month before the semester is done and we are in Cali! Basically, I have 3 major essays to write and then that’s it! (until May 4, at least, which officially marks the beginning of the end! I cant wait for this whole school buisness to be done! I am going to walk away and never look back. fuck! I am looking forward to becoming an unemployed bum! But it’s hard to look that far forward, one day at a time and today is hung, do nothing day! Ghost whisperer is on! My new obsession…. so good! and scary! Perfect combo of scary movie and tv show!

I need to start keeping a pen and paper by my bed. I have crazy thoughts running through my head all night these days. I am trying to develop ideas and theories for my classes and essay proposals and presentations and final papers…..i think that 75% of these crazy epiphanies that i experience half asleep are bulshit non-existent thoughts….but in the off change that i solved some brilliant problem in my sleep (that i then forget when i wake up) I should probably try and write this shit down. train myself to make sleep notes. If anything, I will be very entertained with what I thought/wrote still half asleep. I need a night book! My brain does not stop racing these days, something i just want to put it on hold and not worry about thinking for awhile. Drinking doesn’t do that, unfortunately. March will be the month of nightmares. April will hopefully the month of sighs and sleep.

seriously if i ever make it through this masters in english i will be the king of the world!

went for a lil skate on the river late this afternoon. due to trying to tie my skates tight enough i now have lace burn on my fingers and it hurts!

the floor of my apartment is shaking…. did someone in the building get surround sound? it’s redic!

didnt even make it out to festival this year. i am tired. i am still hungover from thursday…….

there was an ice bar. that went badly… i mean it was super fun but then i ended up watching figure skating through a window and yelling at patrick chan…calling him a cocky asshole….a quad doesnt make the man! psheaw! thats when things got messy. some bad singing on band hero….which made no sense to me…. i am a rock band girl who can get like 99% on expert on kids in america lol….. then i snuck out of the party and the cabbie was trying to haggle with me. he cured my hiccups of 2 hrs when we hit a huge bump and went flying. yesterday was a write off….today wasnt much better….i changed from sweatpants….into sweatpants….parm popcorn anyone?
